چکیده

MOTIVATION Characterization of the restricted nature of the protein local conformational space has remained a challenge, thereby necessitating a computationally expensive conformational search in protein modeling. Moreover, owing to the lack of unilateral structural descriptors, conventional data mining techniques, such as clustering and classification, have not been applied in protein structure analysis. RESULTS We first map the local conformations in a fixed dimensional space by using a carefully selected suite of geometric invariants (GIs) and then reduce the number of dimensions via principal component analysis (PCA). Distribution of the conformations in the space spanned by the first four PCs is visualized as a set of conditional bivariate probability distribution plots, where the peaks correspond to the preferred conformations. The locations of the different canonical structures in the PC-space have been interpreted in the context of the weights of the GIs to the first four PCs. Clustering of the available conformations reveals that the number of preferred local conformations is several orders of magnitude smaller than that suggested previously. Einstein structures on four-dimensional nutral Lie groups

When Einstein was thinking about the theory of general relativity based on the elimination of especial relativity constraints (especially the geometric relationship of space and time), he understood the first limitation of especial relativity is ignoring changes over time. Because in especial relativity, only the curvature of the space was considered. Therefore, tensor calculations should be to...

Video Subject Inpainting: A Posture-Based Method

Despite recent advances in video inpainting techniques, reconstructing large missing regions of a moving subject while its scale changes remains an elusive goal. In this paper, we have introduced a scale-change invariant method for large missing regions to tackle this problem. Using this framework, first the moving foreground is separated from the background and its scale is equalized. Then, a ...

Generating an Indoor space routing graph using semantic-geometric method

The development of indoor Location-Based Services faces various challenges that one of which is the method of generating indoor routing graph. Due to the weaknesses of purely geometric methods for generating indoor routing graphs, a semantic-geometric method is proposed to cover the existing gaps in combining the semantic and geometric methods in this study. The proposed method uses the CityGML...

A Framework for Exploring the Frequent Patterns based on Activities Sequence

In recent years, the development of the use of location-based tools has made it possible to produce geometric trajectories from the user's movement paths. In this way, users' goal of traveling and related activities can be considered in addition to the geometry and route shape. the user activity trajectory represents the sequence of the visited activities and its related analysis as presented i...
